Hi all! I just ordered a new Tesla, so I’m going to try to sell my 90D on here before trading it into Tesla. It’s located in Phoenix, AZ and has a few scratches, which I’ve shown in the pictures. 14,400 miles. Asking $86,000.

As someone who just ordered an MX 100D (i.e. your target buyer), I'd tell you your price is too high vs. what's available in Tesla's inventory -- especially net of tax rebates.

I appreciate the feedback. I honestly have no clue what it’s worth and I went off kbb. I have to sell it, so I will take best offer unless that is close to what Tesla offers. I haven’t gotten that number yet.

I am not sure what SOC means, but I think you’re asking what range I get when I charge 90% and that’s around 224. Right now the car is charged 48% and has 115 rated miles.

SOC = State of Charge. So yes, your answer is 224.

Sold. For those that are curious Tesla offered $66,300 and carmax offered $72,000. The best offer I got from private party was $73,000 online from an out of state buyer. Didn’t seem like enough of a difference not to take the sure thing from a legit, serious buyer. So I took the carmax offer.

Thanks OP, that's really helpful. Very few sellers come back and share the prices they were offered. It really helps the rest of us understand where the market is.

Thanks for this thread. I've been debating about selling my 2016 90D as well and upgrading to the 100D....or just wait for the Y. Good to know that you were able to sell still at that price.

Thanks for this thread. I've been debating about selling my 2016 90D as well and upgrading to the 100D....or just wait for the Y. Good to know that you were able to sell still at that price.

Not sure that I would wait for the Y but I would wait until AP3 is released.

I could never wait that long either (for the Y.) I debated waiting a little longer, but the full tax credit got me now.

Also, got a quote from Carvana for $72,000 since you all like this info. I agree though. I wish people would put this out there.

@azsmartbet where you finding these deals? I’m in AZ. I’ve been looking for private party deal for Model X midnight silver 6-seat config (SW region) but inventory is way low. Just waiting patiently...

Like I said...I sold it. I still have it set up to my account, so I know which used car lot it’s sitting on now. They originally had it for 80k. Now it’s 79k. It’s a Nissan dealer in Utah and they have two model Xs. I find it all interesting so I occasionally check up on it.

Hey Peanuticus, I've been watching the activity on your car here in my home town in NSL UT. They have it listed that it has Enhanced Autopilot but I'm was checking out some of your other posts and didn't see that on you Tesla Sticker. Can you confirm? Conventional Autopilot or Enhanced with Full Self Driving? Thx
