So to get 200 miles, at 3.5 miles/kWh that would be close to 60 kWh. To pump 60 kWh in 15 minutes would require 240 kW Supercharger.. Thats almost double of what is there today.

hmm.. I doubt it... maybe..

Tesla could be underselling Model 3’s range and charging capacity, reveals EPA document

Another interesting tidbit of information from the EPA document: “The vehicle is also capable of accepting DC current up to 525A from an off‐board charger (Supercharger)” That’s especially interesting considering Tesla’s advertised charging rate for Model 3 is actually a bit slower than Model S and Model X. Yet, a DC charging current of “up to 525A” at 400 volts would be mean a charge rate of 210 kW, which is significantly higher than the current Model S/X’s Supercharger charge rate of 120 kW.

If that is fact, then a S130D would easily be able to do 200+ miles in 15 minutes as long as they had a charger that could supply enough KW, on the order of 250KW.

Won't happen this year.

Won't happen this year.
Doesn't need to happen this year, no competition. My thinking is they announce at the end of this year for first production of 2019. This will coincide with the largest fed tax credits paying out. Interior refresh, 2179 and probably 120-130 KWh option. No more 75KWh, that will be owned by model 3. Prices will stay mostly the same but I anticipate some higher end options and plusher interior. I see model S/X going more up segment and letting 3/Y fill the gap left behind. Think BMW M3 and X4. Can't wait for the model S P130T. And the model S 130DL - L for limo it long. Haha.
