What insurance are peeps picking up here? Directline and Churchline were pretty good and I have got some good quotes from go compare.com
Had a decent quote from Direct Line. LV was pretty decent as well. I'm currently with the AA but on their "request a quote" site they listed the model S and X but no model 3. Going to phone them later today to see if they really don't touch it yet.

Sorry I can't really help you with this, as mine has insurance included (company car), but I have found Aviva plus to be good for my previous high insurance group cars, particularly when bundling multiple cars and home insurance etc...I guess there's so much variability across different insurance companies with different people it's hard to know what's going to be the cheapest! Maybe try a comparison site through Quidco for cashback!

I don’t think there is one company that is necessarily going to be best for everyone. It will depend entirely on how they load particular things.

Admiral have given me the cheapest price so far, via confused.com, £200 cheaper than DL who were themselves a good £300 cheaper than LV. Other people have found both LV and DL to be the cheapest.

Just did a quick check, LV comes out as the cheapest of those on comparison sites but a fair margin, based on my projected use and driving history (no accidents, no claims, no points on licence). Obviously Aviva and Direct Line would need separate quotes which I dont have the time to run right now!

Cheapest for me has always been Novo Insurance, a specialist EV lender. When needed to use them they have always been great.

Last Monday I was told I was going to get a text this week as my delivery was due next week or worse fast first week of March. No text so doesn’t look like either of those will be met..

I ordered first week of Jan through Tusker.. M3P Red/Black. I recieved RN number really quick via Chat. Tesla couldnt help and i never got updates from Tusker up until last week. The price changed on Tusker and was about £40 a month cheaper. I asked them if i would pay the same price and they said no. I then saw they had 50 M3P White/Black in their "stock cars" page with delivery in March. This worked out £60 a month cheaper. So i cancelled my original order of Red/Black and took one of their stock M3P in white/black.
They confirm these stock vehicles HAVE to be delivered in March. Looks like they have bulk bought....

The service from Tusker is not as bad as everyone is thinking, they just dont know any detail, the same as all of us on this forum :)
The white is cheaper because the red you originally ordered is £2000 more. Even then, the white stock they are offering is still £76/month more than my quote and I have ordered a colour which has a £1000 premium.
The opinions of service from Tusker varies by customer. Your experience doesn't change that of others who say it's worse.

Daft question what does vin hidden means?
I have checked the source code of the webpage of my account on tesla website - when searched for vin in the page found Vin=Hidden What should I make out of it?
I ordered M3 LR 7 Feb, got email of finance approval on 12 Feb
search for 5YJ3 and if a full VIN number is found then you have been matched to a car that's on the way

Guys with Direct line you are best to have a phone call for a more accurate quote.

I run a quote (2) before ordering and the quotes came around 2-2.2K (I’m in London... don’t rub it in :()
But then I gave them a call to discuss my current insurance, etc and they gave me a quote of around 1.5K for the year which is just great.
They personally mentioned the fact that I had been an existing client for 4 yrs and have a black box policy until now (and had good scores on it) helped. They also said in my situation, it could come down even lower once my telematic score comes back in... :D

Just for comparison...I’m paying just over £1,000 for a class 8 car...

Mine is a White SR+, no options, ordered middle of October '19. Source code VIN appeared last week of January.

I was just starting to get forlorn seeing another wave of texts and delivery appointments being made...QUOTE]

Still no contact here. Also just checked the account page and nothing in there either.
Been told it's on the grand Mark, so hoping to get a collection date soon!
