2019 SR+ Air Filter Question?

I went to replace the air filters in my 2019 Model 3 SR+.

Ordered the kit, followed the videos and all was exactly as it should be until I removed the plastic piece where the 2 stacked filters were supposed to be. I found another piece of black plastic and when I went to pull it out, it felt permanent and behind it I could see metal fins/filter not a plastic replaceable one…

Did I do something wrong? Can someone help me figure out what’s what here? Sorry I didn’t take any pictures - I just wanted to put the car back together before I broke something expensive…

Sounds like your car is missing the paper air filters all together.

Have mobile service do it and watch how they do it ad if anything is missing.
