On the "other" thread they are talking about 0-60, handling, etc. What are we going to talk about? Air suspension, range, best seat adjustment technique?
Why not discuss the $50,000 you can spend on something more useful than a slightly faster car?

Long time lurker here since Jan.
As the others have mentioned already, I just received this text about 30min ago for my delivery. Mind you, this is the first text or communication I’ve received unprovoked since I placed my reservation on 01/27.
Deets: MS LR/blue/black interior/arachnids/FSD
RN: RN1144
idk this seems really reassuring given the silence I’ve gotten since basically Jan/feb. Last time I spoke with anyone, I called someone at the Decatur, GA location the first week of March and someone basically told me STFU, nothing will happen til June earliest. And I was like yeah right whatever (this was when the configurator showed 10-14 weeks for delivery after saying March). Turned out to be the most accurate info in restrospect…

These texts are great! Good to see things moving. I’ll just note FSD seems to be a common thread to these orders making progress, as most if not all ordered it. Just sayin’.

You were June until recently though, right? You’re probably first half of July after they clear what I presume is a might small pre-refresh backlog.
Although those estimated dates have been best to useless, it would be nice to hear why some accounts get them and some don’t. Our orders aren’t that different and I’ve been blank for a month now.

Yup, just June yesterday! My date has been changing more often than usual. I know it probably means nothing.. I'm just looking for the slightest bit of hope with every 5 min refresh.

Well we know they prioritize Plaid for 40,000 reasons, so anyone thinking optioning a LR will have no impact on delivery timing is smoking something. I would think FSD would be more important than Arachnids, which also have significant material cost, so it’s not $4,500 to the bottom line. Hopefully once Q2 is over this nonsense will stop since a car delivered July 1 has the same impact on next quarter as a Sept 30 delivery.

I'm flying from New Orleans to Nashville for my pickup. I've been trying to contact my SA to let him know I will full pay as soon as they give me a VIN. I am a guaranteed June pickup with a day notice. Hard to believe I can't get through to the guy.Hope that ends up being the case. My pickup location (Nashville) is 3+ hours away, but I'd gladly take a day off and do the day-trip if we can pickup before the end of the month. Knoxville where I live is in the process of opening a new service/sales center, so its a race to see if the new center opens before my delivery is scheduled out in Nashville.
FWIW, Tesla is just as bad about service-center opening dates as they are vehicle deliveries. They are already scheduling "beta" service visits to the new location, but won't confirm if it's this quarter or next before it opens. Just "2021 sometime"
