2021+ Model S LR Delivery Tracking

I just heard back from a delivery specialist that a friend referred to me...
She said that my config shows as expected to get a VIN around July 6th. That's for a Blue/21"/white interior/FSD. RN115*****. It used to say October, then it went blank, then October again and now blank again for the past 2 days. Let's see. Don't want to get too excited, although I must admit that ship has kind of sailed already.
That would be some ish if you get a VIN early July and us with way older orders still hanging. Lol

How does not one person know if the currently for sale mats fit the refresh... SA's, forum folks. Pretty please if someone finds a post about the rubber mats front/back and frunk/trunk footwell please PM me 😬
likely not. I know for a fact that the current rear spoiler for sale at the Tesla online store for the Model S does not fit the refreshed S. I talked to someone in Fremont who confirmed that.

The new spoiler is definitely shaped differently on the bottom but we don't yet know if an old spoiler will fit on a refreshed S. We had an old spoiler available last week when there was a new Plaid in our garage. We couldn't really see if it would fit the Plaid S since there was already a spoiler installed and I don't think the owner would've wanted us to remove it. ;)

Once we get our LR, we'll be able to confirm. Just changed wheels to 21" today since it's easy to swap those out later.

Some initial thoughts with my first hour of driving in it.

- I love the yoke wheel for casual driving; you can be super relaxed and laid back just holding it slightly. Supported high arm on the left side by window, or right slouch with elbow on the middle console, both are super comfortable
- The buttons on the yoke still mess me up. I like the turn signals on the wheel, but I’m still not seamlessly operating it and am clumsy with left VS right while driving
- 180 turns are annoying as hell on the yoke… need time here. it’s not just the top being gone, but the wheel being more rectangular than circle. I’ll grow accustom to this but it definitely was my first annoyance
- Shifting from Reverse to Drive etc is seamless; non issue, and immediately got used to it. This was a concern of mine, and it ended up being so intuitive i deem it a non issue
- The HUD and center display are INCREDIBLE. 10/10. Favorite set up I’ve ever experienced in a vehicle. I’m in love.
- Handles so smooth, as to be expected

I would say for someone who was quite nervous about the yoke transition, I really enjoy it and I’m hopeful I’ll fall in love with it as I get used to the fumbles I mentioned above. I am VERY happy to get this car and it pains me to say this, but it was worth the wait (THEY STILL SHOULD BE BETTER AT SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT THOUGH!!!)
That's awesome! Thanks for the info. Are the interior door lights refreshed or the same as previous version? I have Tesla logo puddle lights on all 4 doors in my current 2018 MS 100D that will be traded-in. I could remove them and use in my new MSLR whenever I take delivery if they are the same.
Thanks

I have been told that they have been changed. I believe the new ones are rounded vs the rectangle
