2021+ Model S LR Delivery Tracking

This whole reservation number is total BS! I have 11442XXXX and some ownres with numbers starting 115XXX are already getting their cars (happy for them...) but frustrated with the way Tesla handles deliveries. These are not cheap cars...

Very frustrating until you confirm delivery. Now it doesn’t seem like a big deal. Last
Week before delivery was scheduled I was getting really pissed. I did understand them pumping out the plaids first. But when I saw people with Rn 1145 LR getting scheduled before my 1142 it was maddening.

Hope for those with white on white. I just got a VIN, delivery scheduled for the 30th. SA just called and confirmed it all. 1146, FSD, Arachnid, ordered March 1st with delivery to Portland, OR.

They do exist!

Do you mind sharing the next number? I had a similar number to you, and estimated delivery date. Just our configs are completely different.

Doesn't seem to respond to questions. I can't imagine some random LR order, placed at what I am guessing is the end of May, will have a VIN in the next week.

What is your EDD? I ordered before both of you and I've been blank, with the exception of a day or two, for 6 weeks.

Was blank after placing the order for about 16 days. Then held October for a week before going blank Saturday AM - a week from when it went to October. I am totally fine waiting, much like everyone else I am trying to figure out if there is some pattern to this.

Yet we all know there is random monkeys flinging darts against an order board. But my personality does not accept that hah.

Went back to 19s today. No all weather 21s is a no go for me. White on white 19s team! Let’s go! Haha

Same here. If your a range/efficiency nerd, you'll be happier with 19s anyways too

Yeah same here. I feel like I am fine waiting then I see other LR people getting VINs and I think "getting it now wouldn't suck"!!

This. The arachnids are "okay", IMO, but for the money I'd much rather get an entire spare set of snow wheels/tires and just replace the all seasons with summers when they wear out. Not paying $4500 to get my car a couple months earlier, sorry. No disrespect to those that are choosing to do so, however.

Spot on bro. Exactly what I am doing. I'll take the 19s for the scheisse winters here in Ohio and buy aftermarket 21s for the summer.

Well it does not seem to have worked for me as I am still blank. I would be happy if August came back at this point. Not switching back though. Snow and Ice is sporadic where I live. If I find myself in a bad winter, I will probably rethink an all season option.

Yes, RN11508*** Might be worth noting that I am in the Bay Area so in terms of logistics I assume it’s easier for Tesla to deliver here.

Ops sorry, it’s not my intent, just busy with work. Just responded though, my RN is 11508***. Order placed in early June. But besides this being LR it’s a speced out order (for those who speculate Tesla is prioritizing on those) and I am in the Bay Area so logistically speaking it’s easier to deliver to me… I can just pick up at Fremont too if that was an option. Also in all fairness I do not believe that I will be getting a VIN that soon, regardless of what the delivery specialist told me. Of course I hope to but just seeing so many people who’ve been waiting a lot longer than me, it seems that they should be getting theirs first unless it’s indeed some logistics nightmare again.

Minus the exterior and rims, we are the same. I would take 21s, but I am not changing my exterior color just to get a car sooner.

Would it be shitty for you to get a VIN before others waiting? For sure. Would be happy for you to get your car? For sure. Just to live through you hah. Although, it is clear minus a few people that once the car arrives, they drive into the sunset and TMC is a distant memory.

Thanks so much for getting back! Listen, I hope you DO get that VIN next week. I am rooting for everyone here to get their car ASAP. That said, It sounds just about exactly like some BS Tesla would do over FSD.

“Delivery specialist” is literally in their email signature. They assisted a friend of mine for his Model Y delivery.
