They were likely loaded on to a truck and take to the service center for delivery. But then held back.

In fact, I recall a member was supposed to pickup last week with 19s and was told it would be this week. Anyone recall who that is? Can we tag them for an update

It was in the larger Model S delivery thread. Someone posted a photo with the silver tempest wheels.

Silver 19's are the old tempest wheels and just place holders until the new ones with the right width and offset are produced. No one has gotten delivery of their car with 19" wheels.

Others such as @Hayseed_MS have said it was no problem to get the discount applied via his local SA, once final invoice is issued. I trust my SA to do the same if/when it’s my time.

Im a mid June RN. I hope to be that lucky, especially with 19s. One good thing is 90% seem to hop to 21s, which I did as well for bit, so that helps me... later. LOL. Apologies if its been asked and stated one trillion times, but whats your RN and config?

Part of Q3 EoQ rush. I am thinking the same boat. Which I am slightly queasy about, from a QC perspective. But we shall see.

Tesla randomly called and said if I wait 24-48hrs (possibly longer) I could get the 2k discount since it needs “manager” approval. I declined, I can’t wait any longer. So sad that they are just now looking into this as soon as I have a pickup date, like they couldn’t establish this months ago? I am pushing for them to send me a check after delivery but was told it was to be prior to delivery.

I advise folks to ask their SA to start that approval process early if you are expecting a prerefresh discount
