Woke up to a nice pushback today.

March 17-31 pushed to April 4th-May 9

My carless 16 yo son and wife maybe more more disappointed than me.....wait nevermind, that is a complete lie. I am just in denial.

Maybe the pushback before the VIN.

If so, with my luck I will probably get a 471 VIN

Just share my experience, my EDD got pushed back before I got a VIN assigned, I believe some other people on this thread had the same experience, I hope you have your VIN soon!

Sorry buddy. I would imagine most EOQ cars are already built and OTW to the midwest. I know some people are more optimistic than me here, but I take this as a bad sign. Hope I am wrong.

I agree with you. I saw another Midwest get pushed back today. Knew it was coming for some of us.

There’s still hope. My app/order page still doesn’t show my VIN, but it’s been visible in the order page source code for a while and I just got the message today to book my delivery appointment for March 23 even without a VIN in my app. My EDD was 21-28 at the time. I hope you get your delivery appointment soon.

That’s awesome. Yeah, mine doesn’t show yet in the source page. I went into the Tesla dealership here, rep told me they should assign it during the EDD window. I don’t know much how much weight I put into his words, but we’ll see . Hopefully soon enough - they had a plaid in the showroom and the car is absolutely stunning.

Just had EDD change for the 7th time since my August 6 order date. Is there any significance in getting a wider range of dates for delivery? I've had the range go to 10-11 days a few times (which I thought was a good sign from posts in this forum) but I've never seen a 42 day range.

Wow, with 0 communication, and after getting my car loan approved and rate-locked in, they pushed my March 22-31 date to "April 21 - June 2".

It's disappointing - and any company who cares about the customer experience would have communicated better; AND would have done something to ease the disappointment. It's beyond shitty and the company seems to be run by adolescents who have no idea of how to make and keep promises.

i'm a jun/2021 order RN1151 and I haven't even got a VIN and i'm in CA. Just saying...don't get your hopes up.

Good thing i didn't apply for the loan etc. Won't do that until a VIN is assigned.

For those picking up at the Fremont factory, they will text you with the parking spot your car is parked out a few hours prior to your appointment. I was in and out pretty fast, any issues note it in the app with service. I was missing the cargo pieces and they brought one out for me so ask them before you leave. Only minor issues with trunk alignment and rear left door but everything else looks good. View attachment 780545View attachment 780546

I picked up from the factory yesterday. Everything looked good to me, but what are the cargo pieces you're referring to. I'm wondering if I'm missing those too, but being a noob, I don't know what to look for. Any pics you have will be helpful. Thanks!

I would not advise applying for a loan until you have a VIN

The applique is black on all rerefreshes. The body color applique we're test mules

Those color matched were all test mules, all production models delivered since the switchover have been black.

New Order Mar 13 (LR, std wheels, no FSD). Page said "July" when I was ordering it. Now my EDD is May30-Jun27.

They are all black regardless of color. I saw all the production Model S at Fremont yesterday and not one of them had body colored bar.

Because every single actual delivery has been with the black applique. The only color matched phots are from Feburary and those are of the "test mules", pre-production cars.

What leads to you belive otherwise? Have you seen any customer cars with color matched?

I will say that all black models s do come with color matched applique, color matched trim and even color matched door handles!

well this makes me feel better. Thanks, i have nothing that leads to me think otherwise, just seeing if someone saw a post from elon or something.
