Who knows how the ordering and delivery system works. I am an RN1149 and just got my VIN a coupe of weeks ago. Delivery is scheduled for this Saturday.
I just got a text and scheduled it. I only live 10 miles from the SC, but it is still more convenient to have them bring the car to me.
Took delivery on Saturday.... HOLY **** is all I could say driving this ---- > It's a SPACESHIP

As you can see, the new taillights are definitely there along with the larger charge port door. Also, the OG Plaid badge is coming back??

Update: Tesla has removed this image from the event page and replaced it with the current Model S design
I've had my car for a few weeks and driven just over a thousand miles. I haven't thought about tail lights or head lights once in this time. Car is terrific. Hope you get yours asap! I will send pics next week after it gets clear wrapped (front, rockers).

VIN has arrived. NF471. Feb 14-20 delivery eta. Richmond
You're right behind me, brother. Probably on the same train. Mine is being delivered to my house next Friday but gets to Richmond on Tuesday.
I stoped into Richmond last week and they told my car was supposed to be built on the 10th. No vin yet. I’m hoping any day. ETA is showing 2/25-3/6
I wouldn’t believe that. They told me January 13 when I popped in before the new year and it ended up being last Thursday.
Hi - I just got a VIN today NF469. What should I do since the VINs people are getting now are 471. Does this mean it was rejected? Should I postpone? I need help from folks.
No difference between 469 and 471. I wouldn’t postpone unless you want to hold out for several months for a possible headlight update.
No way for the headlights. I’d like to have them but not big enough deal to wait. My current lease is up in March so going to go for it!
