2021 pre-refresh charging speed

I’m looking to purchase a used X that is pre-refresh. Coming from a 3 it’s surprising to learn that even 2020 model X couldn’t charge at 250kW. Will the 2021 pre refresh X charge at 250? Or be limited to 200?
Lots of factors influence the maximum charge rate. But the legacy X, will most likely end up somewhere between 150 and 200. Only the refresh (2022+) provides the 250+ rates.

only 2022+ refreshed model x's can charger at 250kw. 2022+ can hold 250kw from 0%to bout 35% before it starte to taper. a 2021 pre refreshed will charger somewhere around 190kw. on a version 3 supercharger a 2022+ model x will charger about 30% faster compared to a 2021 model x.

Honestly this is a bummer because my 2019 3 charges faster than that, they should’ve upgraded the tech in their twice as expensive cars. Oh well, I can live with it.

Well the great thing about pre refreshed model x that I wish the 2022+ refreshed model x still have way the dual ac chargers. Lots of the older model x has dual ac chargers and some of then can charge at home at 72-80 amps. That’s allmost 20,000 watts of home charging speed. All new refreshed models only can charge at home at only 48amps/11,500 watts.

The highest Ive seen my 2020 X LR Plus is 180 ish, but I’ve actually nEver SC with the battery super low either maybe 15% is the lowest. It’s a few minutes slower to charge the previous 3 and Y that I had, it’s annoying but not as annoying as having to use a key fob.
