2023 Model 3 Is this totaled ?

Just trying to figure out if my car is totaled. Guy hit me going 50mph + and my tire took the total hit and all airbags deployed. Smelt a burning smell right after car accident and a few days after when I went to the tow yard. Any advice is great !

with any frame damage, yes. If not, then an expensive repair that will take months to complete.

I know there’s a lot of expensive components that sit behind the tires and the batteries as well and the car had to be dragged in the tow truck bc that tire was messed up. Hopefully not trying to go thru a long extensive repair process.

I’m not the right person for this, but when the airbags go off and the pyro fuse, you’re pretty much shopping for a replacement vehicle, I think.

Had a 2021 Model 3 LR that took a similar hit in April 2023 and it was totaled. IMO they will total your M3.

Do you remember the damages so I can ask the EV body shop to focus on those things. I heard nightmare stories that these places take their sweet time and I really need to know asap if it’s totaled so I can move forward. It’s been almost a month already
