I’m ready to just get one off eBay or some other 3rd party and do it myself
You can install our site as a web app on your iOS device by utilizing the Add to Home Screen feature in Safari. Please see this thread for more details on this.

I also searched it for a long time googling it but there were just the old ones only. Did you have chance to find the new one?I’m ready to just get one off eBay or some other 3rd party and do it myself
I have tried. All the oem used ones are always the older ones with the thicker bezel.I’m ready to just get one off eBay or some other 3rd party and do it myself
Did Service center install yet for you? Any problems?I also searched it for a long time googling it but there were just the old ones only. Did you have chance to find the new one?
They say I need to wait again.Did Service center install yet for you? Any problems?
congrats. your the first person that i know of to sucesfully hve this done by tesla. And yes you should have been able to keep your old screen. Can you please share a picture of your service receipt. Also do you know the part number of the newer rear screen with the thinner bezel. i tried giving them part number 1673461-00-E but they said this is an old discontinued part number.$738 all-in. But the tech took my old screen – I was under the impression that I paid full over-the-counter price for the new part and I get to keep the old screen (with the intention of flipping it on the eBay later on). Anyhow, happy that I finally got the thin bezel. I did send a message to Tesla asking to clarify the logic behind taking away a part of my car -- will update you once I hear back from them.
They messaged me – I can keep the old screen, but only if I pay the $1,500 core charge. Thanks, but no, thanks.congrats. your the first person that i know of to sucesfully hve this done by tesla. I would definitely want them to confirm the part before.Sooooo my appointment for this Monday has been confirmed but I have to take my X in to Agoura….I was hoping mobile service could do it so I can watch. Should I ask to see the part before they do anything?
What is otc? Also I’m in the amhambra area. Who helped you there. Did you have them install it? What’s the part number?Got mine today via OTC, ordered part back in April. $600 + tax. Shout out to Tesla Alhambra

Was the display mailed to your home or your Tesla service center? your video didn’t show you personally installing the display nor the rotors. Looks like that shop did it for you and that’s great. No coding needed. Plugs in and automatically works.
Here’s my installation.
