We have a wall connector in the garage, but I am planning to park the cybertruck outside the garage and am thinking of getting a 2nd EVSE for the outdoor parking. A 2nd wall connector would be the most convenient, but has anyone decided to put in an EVSE with J1772 to be able to charge other EVs that may need to charge? If you did, do you think it was worth it or would you rather have gone with another wall connector?

I'm doing the same as you. I'm planning to use an RV box on the outside and another box below it to house the EVSE box on the cord. I'll probably try to find another used Gen1 EVSE (40A capable) for the CT. I have two now for my 3 and Y. I may use one of those. There are currently two 50A circuits into my garage for the EVSEs.
The used Gen1 EVSEs were way cheaper than a new wall connector.
Since Tesla is going to open their SCs to everyone, there will be adaptors.

Tesla -> j1772 adapters do exist. Have one for our leaf so we can charge with the Tesla Gen 2 WC.
Look at the features a pricing and decide which works for you. Lots of options out there which makes it a difficult choice.

I already have a J1772 from my previous EV and the supplied adapter works well with my model 3. Personally, I think it's a good idea to be flexible so if I were in your shoes I'd get a J1772 since you already have a wall charger. Just my opinion of course, you do you.
If you already have gen 3 wall connector, get another one so you can use power sharing. If it’s a gen 2 wall connector, try to find another gen so you can do the same.
