First one was in 2019 under warranty, thus one cost $628. I asked if these are now “consumable items” & got no response. The new ones’ part numbers have an “F” suffix.

Started squeaking about a week ago.

I had my upper control arms replaced at the beginning of June, and there is no entry on the invoice for an alignment.

FWIW - every BMW I've ever owned has had lower control arm bushing fail and need replacement with in the first couple of years. I do tend to consider these things as consumables now. The cars are getting very heavy. Back in the days when a heavy care was 2,900lbs, bushings and ball joints seem to last forever. Doesn't seem that way anymore.
