3M Di-Noc Center Console Wrap is sooooooo easy!

Oooh white carbon... that sounds amazing. I'd like to see it since the image I pulled online seems sort of "cream" and not so much white. It would have to match the seats or it would look off. Their black CF looks really good though.

Just got the vinyl, it is white white. Should look great with the white seats. I will get it done this week.

Did the door handle quickly, I left the buttons uncovered, to make them stick out or more obvious for opening the door.

Well I won't be putting it there since I have the white seats/door inserts... only looking to maybe put it in the center console, but thanks! Might just stick to the black CF, or even brushed Titanium.

Yeah I just noticed RPMTesla has it, but their pictures don't have very good detail. I asked them for some higher quality ones but no response yet. I probably want to do white in the center console, and since the doors have the white inserts, either CF, Black Metalic, or like a Titanium color for the door buttons. Sort of a "Happy Medium". I do think the little "3" logo on top of the white does complete it though.

The logo is cake. I can put anything on it. I still am going with this because it is 3M Di-Noc. The 1080 still is harder to install. If you requested anything from RPM...don't hold your breath.

I bought a cheap Brother Scan N Cut, vinyl cutter on Amazon. Has lots of uses. Pattern was on line ( search open source pattern), but I modified it for my own needs.

Most of the patterns do not allow for much over-wrap on the ends, I added a little more. I think it will not come up as easily, especially on the parts that move. I also made it 1 mm-2 mm wider so I did not have to stretch the vinyl to get full coverage. The DI-Noc is more ridged and does not stretch easily.

How shiny is the 3M Di-Noc? I'm worried it might be too reflective for the dash.

You can get shiny patterns, but the matte patterns are just that. Matte, and not shiny at all. The same as 1080. Just look like it has more depth.

Jimmy1, could you share your modified files? It looks like you have the kit perfected and i'm thinking about buying a brother scan n cut 2 just to play around with this as well. You do have the scan and cut 2 version right? Also, how much material does it take each time, something like the 4ft X 1ft piece you can buy? Thanks
