For those curious it seems to be forward facing. Looks like they are set further back in the hatch to allow the rear seats to fold forward

Forward facing third row would certainly be my preference. The third row Model Y is what is holding me back from purchasing. I recall Elon advising they expect to start deliveries in US in December 2020 of the 7 seater Model Y. Looking forward to it coming to Canada.

December is almost half over and I haven't been any reports of 7-seaters being delivered.

FSD on city streets is still claimed for the end of this year on the ordering page. Tesla has a lot to do in the next 19 days.

Elon time. We still have a few weeks to go. I'm in no rush, I waited three years for my Model 3, I can wait a year for the Model Y. Teslas are worth the wait.
