Accessing HD stations

So I had a 2019 Model 3 SR+ and could key a frequency and tune in a station and if it had HD sub channels, the interface would list the at the top by the station name (as HD1 , HD2, etc). Great feature!

That car got rear-ended and I finally have a replacement (2018 LR) but with the latest updates I can no longer select HD2 or HD3 - there’s no option for that!!

Is it gone permanently or is there a work around??

We have a close friend with a 2018 and he is locked out of many of the update enjoyed by newer cars. He explained that there’s a hardware change the newer cars benefit from. The 2018 owners appear stuck.
