I just discovered a trove of EV data from the Center for Advanced Energy Studies, Advanced Vehicle Testing Data, by the DOE's Idaho National Laboratory. Some really nice testing of EV's, especially the i3 and LEAF. Sorry, no Tesla data. Web Site here: Advanced Vehicle Testing Activity - Full Size Battery Electric Vehicles Contains titles like: 2014 BMW I3 Fleet Testing Fuel Economy Steady State Vehicle Charging Fact Sheet: 2014 BMW i3 - May 2015 On-Road Usage and Performance Summary VIN 5486, VIN 5626, VIN 5655, VIN 5658 Battery Testing VIN 5486, VIN 5626, VIN 5655, VIN 5658 Maintenance History VIN 5486, VIN 5626, VIN 5655, VIN 5658 2012 NISSAN LEAF Steady State Vehicle Charging Fact Sheet: 2012 Nissan Leaf - May 2015 Effects of Electric Vehicle Fast Charging on Battery Life and Vehicle Performance - April 2015 DC Fast Charge Effects on Battery Life and Performance Study - Project Overview - April 2015
Hmm... Very cool data but why the heck were they testing the 2012 LEAF sometime in 2014 or 2015? The 2013 LEAF battery is supposed to do much better at avoiding degradation due to heat. The 2013 or the new 30kwh 2016 battery are the ones people want hard data on, not the 2012 battery.
