After quitting Chess - huge delay before able to put the car into Drive/Reverse.

Anyone else noticed this? It's kind of insane how long you have to wait before you can put the car into Drive or Reverse after quitting Chess. I should time it, but it's in the region of 10-15 seconds. It's almost like after quitting the game it's still quitting in the background and preventing the user from putting the car into a drivable state. Very odd.

Just chess that I’ve noticed.

If you are playing chess, the car knows you have time to kill , and helps you accordingly.

If only that were true! Mostly it’s more than likely just a bug.

My 8 year old twins love playing the Chess game, and when I quit the game , I do not have any wait to get going out of Park.

My guess is that as you drive the Performance version, you broke some speed law, and "The Man" is getting back at you.

Well, the only reason I brought this up is because I was sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic. So I put the car into Park, and fired up Chess. Then the traffic started moving and I had this panic after quitting the game where the car wouldn't move back into D immediately.

I've seen posted elsewhere that if the game is paused, the car won't go out of Park; it's only if you actually quit that you can drive off as you expect. Perhaps this may help?
