Hey all, wife's car will need at least 2 new tires soon and I am curious to know if anyone has fitted different sized tires to the 19" rims?

I prefer more sidewall for a cushy ride and more protection against potholes.

Anyone done it? if so what size did you get and did you have any problems?

I usually buy from tirerack and get them shipped

Thanks

i would also assume u risk rubbing on the inner fender if you went thicker tires without dropping rim size.
You could possibly get away with 18's and 55 tires... maybe... even then i think the math lines up more like you would need 17 inch rims for 55 tires.... but im sure if you put your air suspensions on lowest, you may risk rubbing.

There's even cases of 19's and stock 45 rubbing against inner fender, so i would not risk it.
