Does any one know what is the psi where low tire pressure warning kicks in on a Tesla S when the optimal is 45 psi?
Yes. Think mine are usually set to 40psi. They are staggered and air and 21s. That table is right on.
That table is most definitely not "right on."
It was correct, as dhanson865 said, in early April 2015.
Since that time Tesla has changed the recommended minimum tire pressure for all dual motor cars with 19" wheels back to 45 psi, which is what it had been previously.
My car was too old to upgrade - I specifically asked about that.Or u can pay a crapola load of moola like some of us did to get the TPMS upgrade....not smart btw, but I didn't like the fobo sticking out look.
My car was too old to upgrade - I specifically asked about that.
1. How much did you have to pay to do that upgrade?
2. So do I assume that low tire pressure monitor warning will kick in around 38 psi if the recommended information is 45 psi for my 19" tire?
The Tesla low pressure warning kicks in at 41 psi or 42 psi for tires with a recommended pressure of 45 psi.
You're aware you can display the tire pressures on the dashboard, right?
