My 2019 model 3 has radar and very helpful in my garage (or anywhere) for parking. Just picked up a new Y last week for my wife. No radar, sucks. Does have the matrix lights though. 11/22 Fremont build

Can have the passenger step out and provide an audible beep when you're close to the wall or curb tho. My wife simply yells at me even though I selected the beeping sound...

That’s brilliant. Prob works well for autopilot too. Just need to figure out which passenger to strap to the roof to yell when you’re about to hit another car.

It uses ultrasonics for parking not radar. Unless you haven't been updating your M3 software over the past year, your radar (used for cruise, AP etc) is already disabled anyways.
