Any speculation on ev credit on lease?

How does it work? Like who applies/takes it? Any way to bypass income limit etc?

Tesla gets the credit (if and when the new bill passes), it's up to them if they want to pass anything to the customer. But there is no way the customer can claim anything on their taxes with a lease.

But if you put in a ev charging station at home or a NEMA 14-50 outlet you can claim that for a 30% tax credit (form 8911 I believe).

Tesla has already made the choice to raise prices $8000 in the last 8 months so they are essentially keeping the credit to themselves and doubling that for leases. For purchases, the credit is supposed to be point of sale so the buyer will see the same price as 8 months ago.
