Hey everyone. I tried looking through the forum and reading the manual but cant find out what this is. Took delivery of a CPO model S a few weeks ago and this was on the right side headlight.

A lot of automated (monthly) car washes and security gates use those. Previous owner may have put it there to keep it from obstructing the window? Or for placement of the receiving unit?

As tljdesign stated, the device is an RFID sensor. The "headlight sticker" is used for authentication and automated entry in a gated community. It is typically placed on the headlight because the headlight reflector improves the range.

The reference identified it as a Headlamp Mount Tag.
