Looks like Tesla donated an actual Model S to allow that training video to be made so they could literally cut it up!
I don't expect they would be that generous to the Australian authorities.... Though they would probably donate a carpark full to the Chinese... But that is just economics, so I digress.
i didn't know that about the 12v battery powering a relay to the high voltage battery. And that cutting those wires shuts off the relay and hence shuts down the car... Useful to know in the event of a really serious accident.
