Anyone's Screen Brightness switching from "auto" mode for no reason?

Noticed this has occurred 3 times over the past 4 weeks or so (2017 Model S, MCU2 upgrade). Im on the most current software version. I'll get into the car in the evening and notice the screens unusually bright. When I go into the menu, its been switched from the "auto" mode. (And no one drives my car but me). I change it back to auto, lights dim appropriately on the screens, but 2 weeks or so later, same thing. And no, I havent done any sort of reboot at all lately.

Anyone else experiencing this?

It does help to actually mention the software version instead of saying you are on the most recent version, especially when 3 versions are rolling out simultaneously.
With a somewhat similar car and year, I have yet to see this issue on that car.

Yes, I've been seeing this recently. 2018 Model S, MCU2, Version 20.48.30

Settings are saved per the profiles. Have you checked that your not accidentally adjusting the auto screen brightness when the Easy Entry profile is selected? If thats the case what will happen is when you get in your car the Easy Entry profile will be selected with the auto-brightness setting on but when you start the car it will go to your personal profile which may have auto-brightness off.

Mine tends to do that after a software update. Once it's set back to auto it tends to stay, until the next software update.

I don't use easy entry, and it's happened at times when nobody else has been driving the car, so no profiles would have been touched. I'll keep an eye out for software updates though, to see if it's tied to that.
