You would need an AP2.5+ board and the necessary software tweakage to make it work with a car that's expecting to see an AP2.0 computer. There is not going to be an AP2.0-to-AP2.5 upgrade path offered, but those that have purchased FSD will have an upgrade to the AP3.0 computer set.
I should note: I’m not looking for Tesla’s official response. I’m interested in unorthodox/creative solutions I know it’s possible, I just need some guidance from someone who knows or has done it.
You’d need to run a new wire for the radar, root your cid, replace all your cameras, replace your front radar, then do a gateway update for the new ape and probably also a firmware redeploy? Maybe more?
