Conclusion after a number of late night commutes recently.

Does sort of suggest a lot of the flakiness and false alarms are down the the camera software more than the radar.
The cameras of course are presented with a much simplified rear tails on a black background image at night.

Interested if anyone has similar experience.
 
It's the same with AP1. At night, it's near perfect. It can see the lines better and has no trouble from glare. During a bright day, the sun seems to cause havoc with the cameras and it loses the lane lines much more easily.

I actually agree with that. The night AP is way better. During the daytime I feel like the butt of the car wiggles a little bit. I don't have the latest version yet. I heard the newest does fix that.
