App displaying incorrect conditions of Car

After owning the car less than a week, I had a near heart attack as I looked down on my app one morning and it said my trunk and rear right door were open! The car had been parked on the street overnight, so I’m freaking. I ran out to the car and all was well. What the heck?

More recently, it has been saying that my sunroof is open and it’s not. I tell the app to close the roof, I’m starting right at the car and nothing changes – then the app says it’s closed.

Charging details, temperature, location all seem correct.

Has anyone else seen this? Any tips to mitigate? My apologies if this has been discussed before.

What I found with mine is that the app and the car don't always communicate. Sometimes I need to activate a small function, such as a light flash before all the displays will update. For example, the interior temperature displayed or not is a good indication if there is communication. YMMV...

Understood - I'll certainly give that a try next time before I have an all-out panic attack!
