So pleased with this location! When coming from Palm Springs/Big Bear to San Diego, we always stop in Temecula (which is usually too early). And all the other stops Southbound are way too far off the freeway. This looks like ideal restaurant options too! Thai, Med, Mexican, Pizza, Burgers...

Charged here a few weeks ago. Worked out great! It's also a safe place to stash your car for lunch outright (unlike the adjacent streets where you could get jacked at any moment).

A related question: With 365 days of insatiable sunshine every year, and a well-justified desire to have shade for the vehicles/drivers, wouldn't this be the poster child location for solar panels?

Looks like everything related to the Supercharger hardware/infrastructure is done. Save for a few "EV Charging" signs/pavement stencil, we're done here. Hopefully we bring this puppy online quick! There are tourist Teslas and even locals all over this market that could really use this.

My model S charger that I replaced this one with has now also failed. I guess these things just don't last very long. This could be catastrophic if you were depending on the travel charger and it just puked on you. . .

I had this change from the "old way" on my display about a week ago. It's been really terrible. I can't tell you how much I absolutely HATE not having the superchargers on the screen for me at all times. There has to be a way to "downgrade" back to where we were before the "upgrade."

This is a much better location than expected. Allowed for a trip from Joshua Tree to Julian non-stop (spent the day there). Then on the way back to SD a perfect stop here for a fill up while @ dinner. Farmhouse 78 was the spot, highly recommend!

This is probably my favorite Supercharger to date. Been here 4-6 times over the last several weeks. We're between San Diego and Palm Springs/Joshua Tree often and this is really good. You can go to In-n-Out on the way up for lunch and then go to Grocery Outlet to get your food for the week...

Supercharger capacity will never be enough. At least not until sales/deliveries slow down. The problem is that Tesla simply produces the best car possible. Coupled with the fact that way too many people don't have home or work charging so they depend on Superchargers more than ever could be...
