App does not fill iPad screen

Hi,

When I run the app on my iPad it seems to be stuck in landscape orientation with large empty spaces on the sides. Are there any settings I can change to fix this?

Not really. Fundamentally the Tesla app seems to be pretty much just intended for use in portrait mode.

Even on the iPad in portrait mode, the best you can do is expand it to fill the screen, but it doesn't add any more information or content to what is presented.

Just to add to what Brude said, Tesla has not developed the app with the iPad in mind (with correct resolution options or a landscape mode) so the OS on the iPad does it’s best to enlarge and make the app presentable.

It works but I agree that it’s ugly and wish Tesla would develop the app with the iPad in mind too.

Normal indeed. The Tesla app is not designed for iPad.
