Apple Music missing “Now Playing” from large size of the app

Don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s an oversight.

I was listening to a random song which led me to want to listen to another song within that album.

The problem is that there’s no way to see on the large size of the app (navigation side of the screen) what’s currently playing.

On the small side selecting the artist or song only opens the large side of the app unlike the large side of the app where selecting an artist or album takes you directly there.

You’re correct the now playing does slide over when you switch to the other cards but you still can’t interact with the artist or album at the top either.
