Arkansas Waiting Room population one!

Well, my original delivery estimate based on ordering May 21 (ordered just after midnight, costing me an extra $500) was "4 to 12 weeks from order date" meaning roughly Jun 21 to Aug 21... that statement would sometimes disappear and then re-appear without rhyme or reason. Now it just updated with "June 14 to June 30"

I am eagerly anticipating its arrival!

From what looks like a few of us got the September EDD today including myself. It sounds like it’s a glitch and hopefully tomorrow will reflect our previous EDD.

I update to remind myself that I exist :) I long for the day that someone else from Arkansas orders a Tesla Y....

(softly singing in the background) One is the loneliest number...

New update, delivery is now supposed to happen July 20 to Aug 9.

Well, the Arkansas waiting room now has a population of zero!

I almost gave up on the car, I did as needed to switch my reservation over from the originally planned blue MY LR to the MSM MYP. When I called the delivery center the next day the delivery specialist on the phone said that I had to pick up the car within 3 days. I told her "I can't quite my job to pick up a car!" She was adamant that it had to be picked up within 3 days. I asked about shipping the car and she said it would be an additional $750... (I had no option to spend that much extra money, the wife was watching for extra expenses like a hawk). I asked if the delivery fee could be comped since they are at the end of the quarter and need to move cars... she acted like this was an insane preposition and they never did things like that. I told her that since I can't pay for the car if I quite my job, and I didn't want to start cursing at the wrong person to go ahead and cancel the car and since they were the cause to give back my $100 deposit. There was a long pause on the phone and she came back with "so what do you want to do"... At that point one or more F bombs fell out of my mouth as I said something along the lines of "Cancel the F'ing car, I will buy an F'ing Ford"... she got offended and handed me off to her supervisor.

The supervisor apparently actually wants to sell cars, he immediately offered to comp the shipping of the car, or switch me to another of their demo cars that was currently closer to my home. After going back and forth for a bit we came to an agreement. He said one of the wheels needed touch up and the car would be ready on Monday... this is of course 4 days from the start of the conversation, and I actually got it today, 5 days after the first delivery specialist said I had to pick the car up within 3 days. I just don't understand some people. Do the supervisors work on commission and the rest of the staff are just hourly? Or does actually wanting to sell cars get you moved up to supervisor?

Anyway, here are pics of the car. It arrived with rear door PPF but no mud flaps.
