Another Tesla killer, this time targeting the new 2020 Roadster. (BTW, we probably will have to stop calling it that in about 3 years. )

Summary: prototype does 0-60 in 1.9xx seconds. But it has only a supercapacitor, no batteries (hence reduced range and weight). They will produce 50 in their first production run. Only 22 times the price of a base Roadster ($4.4m!).

(The video shows the "Pit Crew" pushing the car back to the starting line, so either it fully dumped the supercap in 1.9 seconds, or the Owl doesn't have a reverse gear )

They faked that time, it only made it 0.7 secs into the run before it appears to have lost power and slowed down for 0.2 secs and it wasn't until the 1.4 sec mark that it got back to the speed that it had at the 0.7 sec mark. It also appeared to be in limp mode at the end of the run, as it was approaching 100km/h (allegedly) it was only accelerating at about 0.1 g (1 m/s), if fact it as accelerating at EXACTLY 1 m/s.

Their only "proof" was a spreadsheet, which looked faked ( remarkable that the speed was changing at exactly 0.001 m/s every 0.001 s for the entirety of the portion of the spreadsheet that they showed).
