Austin build doors close hard

I just picked up our MY LR yesterday. Traded our 2021 MY LR.

The drivers door is hard to close. The SA said this is common for Austin built cars. Is that accurate?

I think it's common even on Fremont vehicles. Something to do with the frameless window and the door seal. It should get better over time.

I have an Austin build MYLR and the door is hard to close. Also seems to be pressure related; if you roll down the window slightly or have another door open, it closes easily without issue.

I don't have my Y yet, but the one we test-drove, a Freemont car, had this same issue. My wife was in the passenger seat, and could not push the door open to get out. The driver's door was what I would call normal to open and close. I walked around to her door, and she was right in saying she couldn't open it. We didn't know this until we got out since the SA was the one who initially closed her door. The difference in friction was stark. Perhaps too much paint stuck in the hinges?
