I wonder if the Model 3 recall/stopped deliveries is a good or bad thing for Model Y deliveries... I guess it could mean more appointment slots are available (and sooner) when the cars actually arrive at the delivery centres?

Brisbane - just got the schedule a pick up time text. Been a long wait and I’m half expecting them to send a follow up, “whoops we left it in the dock in China” message.

Thanks - interesting though that Sydneysiders were given an expected delivery date of early Feb and later while we in Canberra have a late Jan and later date range.
Would have expected it the other way around

In CBR del is 3/2 to 27/2 but they apologised today as the car is still in Shanghai so it doesn't appear to be always the case.

Hi there, first time posting here (can't even tell if I'm doing it right). I ordered MYRWD December and have a VIN allocated but no update from Tesla. I'm in Sydney and app says EDD 26 Feb to 18 March. Do you know what ship that would be on?

In CBR del is 3/2 to 27/2 but they apologised today as the car is still in Shanghai so it doesn't appear to be always the case.

True - mine is still 28 Jan - 18Feb. I am a bit disappointed by the lack of communication from the Tesla folks. If it was not for this forum I would not have had a clue what was going on since the last email from them regarding shipping still listed GC and any queries I have emailed remain unanswered since late Nov 23

Oh I'm so excited. I just got assigned a VIN and estimated delivery date- happy times! Except the delivery date has been. Pushed back again. Was initially Dec-Jan, then Jan-Feb, and now it's Feb 26 - Mar 18!
How do you figure out the ship when you have the VIN?
Using the teslatap website suggests it's a 2023 build which I'm surprised given it has only just been allocated now.

I also used them for 3 phase install - not that i have used it yet - but they were clean, on time and did their best to conceal conduit at dignificant effort cost to themselves. Get a quote, the guys will also discount if you pay cash on the day.

Can the power wall handle 2 phase as well? Or is it just one or three phase?

Well I just got the depressing call from Tesla, they claim the car (MYP) is in Shangahi on the Glovis Caravel and they are awaiting further advice from Tesla. Apparently the plant in Shanghai produces only a very small amount of MYP so they (Tesla) are working hard to reallocate another VIN from other stock.

They also claim that my car has 38% charge and that the warranty would look after any issues with the battery 8years 192000km >30% deg. I assume if it drops <20% they would surely top up the charge?
I checked vessel finder and Glovis Caravel is enroute to the US now having now left South Korea.
This means the car must have been off loaded in Shanghai one would assume waiting for another ship and one would also assume that they cannot summon up a car carrier magically so for now Tesla is sticking with a delivery date which covers nearly all of February Yeah right! I still maintain that I would be lucky to get my car by Easter. We will see.

Sorry for the long post I hope the Morning Crystal orders get delivered to their owners soon!

I feel you. Sounds like we are in the same boat (or not in a boat, unfortunately).
