So I just realized this when trying to park today. When the car gets to a position where is shows the automatic direction change feature that pops on on the screen (think you want to auto shift),,it will also show you the suggested parking spots. However, even if you scroll the wheel and try to select one,, you can't . Apparently, when one feature is showing you can't pick which one you want to use. This is exactly why I think the MS and MX should use the same interface style (main touch screen) for auto park.

Interesting. I just got 2024.14.9 update today and both these options are no longer available! NO shift beta and no auto park!. Is it possible that Tesla took away these two features!?
That is not the behavior on my '23 Model S. I've seen both indicators pop up simultaneously more than a few times, but I have not had an issue picking a spot and starting autopark any time I hear "Dad, I want the car to park itself" from the back seat. I use the auto shift any other time, also with no issues.

Both my MS and MX got the 24.14.9 update, MS uses USS and has the auto shift and auto park ( standard or Tesla vision) but not my ‘23MX.
