Purchased a mod s two weeks ago, i got enhanced autopilot and was surprised to find out i got ap3. The car was built in march 2019. Tesla had some existing new inventory so the offered free unlimited supercharging , and i got 19k off list. Its still expensive but seems like i got a pretty good deal. I have had 2 software upgrades 16 annd now the latest 2019 20.4. I get all the features but stopligts, its working very well. My vin ends in 30xxxx. Anybody else bought one of these ??

I’m not sure what benefits there are to “autopilot 3” as I pretty much checked out if that whole thing

If your option code says "APH3" that corresponds to HW2.5. Option code "APH4" is HW3 aka FSD computer.
But if you purchase FSD, your car should be upgradable to HW3.

I have the aph4 = ap 3 dont know what you mean by fake computer, i have the upgraded computer?

Yes, my car was built in March 2019 and came with full self driving capability. They told me it was AP 2.5 but would be upgraded to 3.0 for free in five minutes at any time by the mobile truck. Car still has full functionality as far as current features on auto pilot but the 3.0 computer will be needed to handle future updates and features that are exported.
