First world problem but I would say big deal a simple mishap can shut down all safety aids, not aware of this happening with any car makers.
There should be a fail safe preventing basic features to just stop working

It's kinda scary that something can go awry on Tesla's side and then poof, no more AP.

Anyone on AP1 able to confirm whether or not this happened to them? I won't be heading out of work for a few hours.

Same issue here happen shortly after 12:00am I was leaving work, worked for about 5 minutes then stopped. Hasn't worked since.

So, it's been down for 12 hours?! WTF... And Elon is tweeting about the mysterious visitor from the stars. Maybe we DO need that COO....

I would assume that the version doesn't matter... if it's a mothership issue, it shouldn't matter.

If that was the case, wouldn't all cars experience the same behavior? As of 2 hours ago, I didn't have the issue.

Seriously down for at least 12 hours and not a peep from Tesla. Concerning to say the least, I must have rebooted 5 times wiped all my sensors anything I could think of.

No Prepaid FSD here so that isn't the lnk.

Yes, I had this issue (MS AP2 2017 75D) 42.2 at 6am ET for about 85 miles. I parked for about 45min and then did another short trip at 9:30am everything was back to normal.

My screen came alive at lunch with the road lines and traffic. Cruise control operated, but in City traffic I could not get more function.

I have an X75D. same exact issue. Running 42.3.

Started last night. Called TESLA and they said it’s being reported by several other owners. He asked me if I could pinpoint when it happened. I told him it was working at around 9pm EST and then I first noticed it wasn’t at around 1130 pm EST.

He said it was an “all hands on deck” issue and they are working in fixing it, hopefully by tonight.

I was on the phone with Tesla support while it was happening and when settled at my office sent pictures with time stamps to go along with the logs that they were pulling once I was parked. Hopefully something shows up. I seem to lose EAP every time it rains so today must have just been an anomaly that it was raining and it was "somewhat" fleet wide!?!

still not back here, just drove 100 mls in driving rain, wasn't that fun.
There didn't see to be much urgency when I called this am after I waited 20+ mins. Tried to call again and teh call dropped off when I was at more than 5 mins, 25 mins into it.
Only Tesla can get away with that, I mean $110k car loses key features and nobody there seems too bothered. How about a message to owners affected by teh issue to keep them updated?
