I don't think that's the reason no one else does it. I suspect it has more to do with concerns about liability, and design philosophy than any technical objection. Tesla seems more willing to take on these sort of liability issues than other manufacturers (and I applaud them for it).

Why do all the other car companies make you okay some disclaimer thing before using the nav, while Tesla doesn't?

I guess it's hard enough that no other manufacturer does it.
