Back to the future app for the Model S screen

It is back to the future day, so I coded a web app for it!

Here is a quick video that shows how it works: https://youtu.be/E4m1-biWFB8
Open it in the lower part of the screen (url http://www.grym.as/teslafuture) and put the camera in the upper part.

Travel safe! Bring something from the future for me!
Thank you for a great laugh today! My kids (and all my geeky friends) loved it. The hardest part was getting the music to sync.

Hank,

Where can we get that?

When I owned my Delorean, a guy in the Delorean community made and sold a couple dozen of them, probably 4 or 5 years ago. I think it was a labor of love, because after fulfilling all the orders he got, he realized it was a lot more work than he had expected. So after his final batch (one of which I got), he said he was done making them. I can show you the details in November, it's mostly wood with a felt covering, and a simple decade counter and 555 timer to do the three lights bars in parallel. There are real replicas you can get which include the grey electrical box (see: Amazon.com: Back to the Future: Flux Capacitor Replica Unlimited Edition: Toys Games) if you wanted to re-purpose it in a different box like I have.

Here's the Flux capacitor for your Tesla screen: Flux Capacitor
did this quit working :(
if you're asking about the flux capacitor posted by efusco, that website seemed to become defunct some time ago

However you can find a similar one on this site (sadly, not quite as high quality an image as the previous one):
Fun Tesla Screens, Dashboards, Valet Messages & More
click on the "Future 1" button for the flux cap; "Future 2" for a time machine control panel similar to OP's post
