Holy *sugar* am I an idiot. Had a set of fast wheels EV01 with winter tires for my 2020 M3LR. Bought a 2022 M3P. Quickly looked at the website for the wheels I own and they advertise as fitting all variants of model 3. Perfect. Winter comes along so I throw the wheels on the car and take off...

@Migs671 You won't need anything special to mount the M3P wheels. Their offset is a few mm lower though, to compensate for M3P PUP brakes having a thinner rotor hat.
Net effect when mounted on a Model 3 with the base brakes is the M3P wheels will stick out maybe 5-6mm more if I recall correctly. To my knowledge (not an expert) you won't have any issues just from that change, it's a common swap and also many folks here run more aggressive offsets/fitments.
Except they *will* be more prone to flats when hitting potholes, and they do decrease range and ride comfort, right?
@father_of_6 None of that would be from the offset change, which is the context of quoted you trimmed.
