Battery freeze symbol

Hi
I left my car at the airport and didn’t get a chance to get it plugged in . It has 63 miles left on the battery and now on my app I see a freeze symbol . The outside temperature is 45 degrees for the high and 33 for the low. I won’t be back for a few days . Is this bad ?

It's fine unless it dies completely. I wouldn't keep waking it up by checking it in the app!

The freeze symbol simply means the battery is cold... you'll have low regeneration and slightly less range reported. Some of that range will come back when the battery warms up.

You don't have a lot of energy left at 63 miles. When the snowflake appears, part of your battery gauge is taken up by a blue section that the car won't use because it's too cold. This section starts from the bottom.

It's possible that if you arrive back on a very cold day, you may not be able to drive far or at all. If it's warmer and you still have some charge, it should be fine.

Unfortunately this cold reserved capacity is not something they really educate people about until you're actually faced with the reduced range.
