Battery running low....

Ran the battery a little low tonight.....

Note - one can get well under the rated 150Wh/km (144 over last 50km) EVEN in 2 degree C weather IF:
1. Run temp 17 degrees C in cabin...
2. No heated seats
3. Fan on 1
4. Chill mode
5. AND drive very very slow (75-85km/hr)

Luckily it was only my son in the car with me (had hockey game 75km away) and didn’t mind the challenge / temps.

Interesting the warning when I parked the car in the garage due to temps - AND power was limited on the discharge side (ie opposite of the limited regen). Never seen those before.

If you park it below I think 20% and below freezing you will see the "significantly less energy available" warning.

I’ve seen the “less energy” warning when the ambient temps were in the 40’s (F obviously).

I get that warning quite a bit in winter time, any time I run low and it's below 40F out.

Guess I don't run that low often. Thank you for the corrections.

Those of you just becoming familiar with cold EV driving just wait till you get "regen disabled" because the car has not been charged/driven/preheated.
These things could coast forever.
