Being over charged for Super Charging

I have been noticing this for several months, i brought this up to Tesla and they ignored it and told me that they are not concerned with it. I know Tesla states that it takes 10-15% more energy to to charge a car. This is 1 of many examples I have

I will fill up to 100% and drive. during that drive I will consume 42KWH

I Super Charger for 56KWH or 33% more KWH then I consumed.

This is the area that baffles me. I would than be charged for 66KWH. 10KWH more then my car was able to take.

Please help because this is costing me $3-$5 more per charge and with my car battery capacity so low i'm finding myself super charging more and more while i'm traveling.

Are you using HVAC while charging? As that would be more energy used that isn't going in to the battery. Depending on temperature that could be 3-6kW of draw. (So could add 1.5-3kWhs to a 30 minute charge.)

So if 56kWh went in to the battery, 3kWh went to HVAC, and other accessary usage, and then you add 12% for charging losses you come up with a delivered energy of 66.08kWh.

So it sounds like they are charging you correctly.
