I'd consider it, but I hear it's pretty expensive to do. My first new car was a yellow Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V. I loved that colour.

I went with white on white. Can’t really get that on a mainstream car anywhere else but Tesla

Went with the same white on white, completely different reasoning though. I’m cheap so white exterior but live in the U.K. where it’s wet and gloomy - the white interior lifts the entire aesthetic!

Also, for some reason, the blue Model 3 does not look as gorgeous as the blue Model Y, to me..

I totally agree with this. I can’t pinpoint why, but the blue Y is my favorite color, but on the 3 ...meh, not even interested.

I don't know if it's just a false perception, but more recent red Teslas (especially Model Y) have quite a bit more depth to them than earlier models based on memory and photos.

I think the black trim in place of the chrome really contrasts well with the deep red paint, so I went with that, personally.

My 4Runner is blue, so she didn't want to get the same color as me (we've done that more than once, LOL). We've had red, black and white, never anything in the grey family (I almost went with grey on my last GLI, ended up with white). So we went with MSM, black interior (because it's not a '57 Thunderbird and MSM/white just looked weird).

Honestly, I preferred the chrome trim, especially with blue and red.

I kind of agree, on a light color I prefer the chrome trim especially with the silver wheels.

It is a pity that the light silver with white interior is not available sine July 2018.

It could also be Xpel STEALTH. Adds a paint protection film that gives the illusion of a satin finish.

I ordered Midnight Silver Metallic with black. Thought about red, which may look superb in the snow here, when clean but opted for silver...seems all our previous vehicles have been shades of grey or silver.

Tesla is charging a grand extra for white, and it reportedly is a better material, and more 'padded', which I'm not sure what that means. Does anybody know for a fact if they feel the same tactically, and when you sit on them? Curious about that.

We're probably going to go with an M3 LR white/white. The now black trim looks cheap; wish it was at least body-colored. That was a big step backwards IMO. But it probably still looks less bad in white than any other color IMO. The 19" wheels are hideous, so deleted that option. The aero wheels look the same to me, and they go better with white too, as well as gray. They look weird on blue and red, so maybe those should opt for 19s.

True, and the dash trim on black has a wood veneer whereas I think the white is more white plastic. I was referring to the seat material only being exactly the same. I think the black interior looks classier and appreciate less light reflectivity in the cabin, but it seems I'm in the minority in preferring black.
