Biodefense Mode

Has anyone tried the biodefense mode yet? I was wondering how that worked out.
Anyone with severe allergies or who have drove through areas that smell really bad or have high atmospheric bacteria?

Filtering out stuff like exhaust fumes seems like a small thing, but I imagine it makes a big difference in the driving experience. I hate being behind a diesel rig or a rice rocket that clearly had most of its emissions controls removed. The fumes are terrible.

The question for me is cost. It's a 3k option on Model S, and I think 4.5k option on Model X because the filtration system is part of the Premium Interior Package.
