Biodiesel powered jet turbine series hybrid; hard to say but might be very nice to live with.

"Called the CMT-380, the vehicle has been developed by microturbine specialist Capstone with help from Electronic Arts' Chief Creative Director, Richard Hilleman, who presumably is tired of only driving far-out cars virtually."

I thought about using small jet turbine, possibly from RC model world, to power an electric car during highway cruising speed. I want to know what peak practical fuel to electricity conversion efficiency of this generator would be? Also, what emissions apart from CO2 would be generated? Is the trouble is worth it going this route versus regular piston engine?
