Black Window Trim Splotchy

Has anyone else had this issue? Just happened after a wash. Isn’t wiping off.

No I didn’t wash it while hot or in the sun. I used car guys Mr. Pink soap.

There are a few posts of some with the same trim stains, mostly after a wash. This leads me to believe it's either;
A. Soap
B. Water hardness (ph)
C. Exposure to intense sun
D. Combination of all these and then some....

I've use chemical guys and car pro soap. No issues so far but I make certain its not when the sun is at its peak.

Some have suggested ceramic coat it (CarPro DLux) the trims..

Thanks though I was using filtered water and Chemical Guys soap. I was not in the sun and the car was not hot. Not sure what to do.

It looks like a chemical dipping process did not go right.
